Le Breakthrough Prize est un prix récompensant des avancées majeures, fondé en 2012 par Mark Zuckerberg et Priscilla Chan de la société Facebook, Sergey Brin fondateur de Google, et Yuri Milner et Anne Wojcicki fondateurs de 23andMe. Les lauréats recoivent 3 millions de dollars.

La médaille Fields : the prize comes with a monetary award which, since 2006, has been CA$15,000.

J'ai fait la conversion : 9597,96 €, loin des 3 millions de dollars... -
Tant que Zuckerberg ne paye pas les lauréats de son propre prix avec sa propre crypto-monnaie de singe: tout va bien !
Monsieur Hairer et son épouse vont pouvoir devenir propriétaires d’un logement à Londres.
