Fonctions de répartition d'une va réelle
Il y a la vieille $\Pr(X<x)$ et la neuve $\Pr(X\leq x).$ Ne choisissons pas et prenons $$F_X(x)=\frac{1}{2}(\Pr(X<x)+\Pr(X\leq x)).$$ Montrer alors l'identité de Christian Robert : si $\mathbb{E}(|X|)<\infty$ et $\mathbb{E}(X)=0$ on a $$2\mathbb{E}(XF_X(X))=\int_{-\infty}^{\infty}F_X(t)(1-F_X(t))dt.$$

Bonjour,
Elle a une drôle de tête cette formule (le membre de droite est invariant par translation mais pas celui de gauche). Il ne faudrait pas supposer $\Bbb E[X]=0$, ou ajouter $\Bbb E[X]$ à droite, ou quelque chose comme ça ? -

Remarque : En s'inspirant du calcul de $\mathbb{E}[X(2F_X(X)-1)]$, on trouve aussi $$\mathbb{E}[2F_{X} (X)-1] = \int _{\mathbb{R}} \left( \int _{\mathbb{R}} \mathbf{1}_{y<x} \,\mathrm{d}\mathbb{P}_{X} (y) -\int _{\mathbb{R}} \mathbf{1}_{y>x} \,\mathrm{d}\mathbb{P}_{X} (y)\right) \,\mathrm{d}\mathbb{P}_X(x) = 0$$ (encore en échangeant $x$ et $y$ dans l'intégrale double qui apparaît à gauche) donc $\fbox{$\displaystyle \Bbb E[F_X(X)]=\frac12$}$ (ici l'hypothèse $\Bbb E[|X|]<\infty$ n'est plus nécessaire.).

Il me semble qu'on peut prouver de la même manière que pour toute fonction $g\in\mathcal{C}^1(\Bbb R,\Bbb R)$ $$\Bbb E[g(X) (2F_X(X)-1)]=\int_{-\infty}^\infty F_X(x)(1-F_X(x))\,g'(x)\,\mathrm{d}x$$ lorsque les intégrales qu'on écrit font sens.

Ces formules me font beaucoup penser au principe de Cavalieri, mais je ne suis pas aller vérifier si c'était vraiment relié.

Merci Calli, ma démonstration est la même, moins l'extension à $E(X)\neq 0$. Pas encore vérifié celle avec $g(t)$. Renart, pas pu ouvrir le lien, mais 'Cavalieri' et le principe des indéfiniment divisibles reliés à la formule du fil me laissent perplexe pour l'instant.

Le principe de Cavalieri auquel je fais référence est le suivant :\[ \int_\Omega g(f(x)) \mathrm d x = \int_{\R^+} g'(x) \lambda\{f>x\} \mathrm d x \]avec $g : \R_+ \to \R_+$ une fonction $C^1$ et $f : \Omega \to \R_+$ une fonction mesurable. Quant à savoir si on peut vraiment appeler ça "principe de Cavalieri" et le relier à la méthode des indivisibles... c'est une autre question. Mais ce n'est pas moi qui ait choisi ce nom
