  1. Domaine de définition. La fonction \(\rho\) est définie sur \(I=\mathbb{R}\setminus\left\{2\right\}\).

  3. Variations. Pour tout \(\theta\in I\), \(\rho'\left(\theta\right)=-1/(\theta-2)^2\).

    • Quand \(\theta \rightarrow 2\) : on étudie la quantité \(y\left(\theta\right)/x\left(\theta\right)\) : \[\dfrac{y\left(\theta\right)}{x\left(\theta\right)}=\dfrac{\rho\left(\theta\right)\sin \theta}{\rho\left(\theta\right)\sin \theta}=\tan \theta \xrightarrow[\theta\rightarrow 2]{}\tan 2.\] On forme maintenant la quantité : \[y\left(\theta\right)-\tan 2 x\left(\theta\right)=\rho\left(\theta\right)\left(\sin \theta - \tan 2 \cos \theta\right)=\rho\left(\theta\right)\dfrac{\sin \theta\cos 2 - \sin 2\cos \theta }{\cos 2}=\dfrac{1}{\cos 2}\left(\sin \left(\theta-2\right) + \dfrac{\sin \left(\theta-2\right)}{\theta-2}\right) .\] En utilisant la limite usuelle \(\sin x/x\xrightarrow[x\rightarrow 0]{}1\), on montre que \(y\left(\theta\right)-\tan 2 x\left(\theta\right)\xrightarrow[x\rightarrow 2]{} 1/\cos 2\).

  6. Représentation graphique.
