Exercice 608
On se donne deux matrices \(A, B \in \mathfrak{M}_{n}(\mathbb{R})\). Trouver toutes les matrices \(X \in \mathfrak{M}_{n}(\mathbb{R})\) vérifiant : \[X + \mathop{\mathrm{Tr}}(X)A =B.\]
Si \(X\) est une solution, prendre la trace de l’équation puis discuter.

Soit une matrice \(X\in \mathfrak{M}_{n}(\mathbb{\mathbb{R} })\) solution. Alors \(\mathop{\mathrm{Tr}}(X)+ \mathop{\mathrm{Tr}}(X)\mathop{\mathrm{Tr}}(A)=\mathop{\mathrm{Tr}}(B)\). Il faut étudier deux cas :
Réciproquement, si on suppose \(\mathop{\mathrm{Tr}}(B) = 0\), alors en posant \(X = B+ \lambda A\), on a bien \(\mathop{\mathrm{Tr}}X = \mathop{\mathrm{Tr}}B + \lambda \mathop{\mathrm{Tr}}A = -\lambda\), et par conséquent \(X + \mathop{\mathrm{Tr}}(X)A = X - \lambda A = B+ \lambda A - \lambda A = B\).
Dans le cas où \(\mathop{\mathrm{Tr}}(A)=-1\) et \(\mathop{\mathrm{Tr}}(B) = 0\), l’ensemble des solutions est \(\mathcal{S}= \left\lbrace B+ \lambda A, \lambda\in\mathbb R \right\rbrace\).
Conclusion : Si \(\mathop{\mathrm{Tr}}(A)\neq -1\), \(\mathcal{S}=\left\lbrace B-\dfrac{\mathop{\mathrm{Tr}}(B)}{1+\mathop{\mathrm{Tr}}(A)}A \right\rbrace\). Si \(\mathop{\mathrm{Tr}}(A)=-1\) et \(\mathop{\mathrm{Tr}}(B)\neq 0\), \(\mathcal{S}= \varnothing\). Si \(\mathop{\mathrm{Tr}}(A)=-1\) et \(\mathop{\mathrm{Tr}}(B)=0\), alors \(\mathcal{S}=\{ B+\lambda A; \lambda \in \mathbb{R} \}\).
