Matrice identité

On appelle matrice identité et on note \(I_n\) la matrice de \(\mathfrak{M}_{n}\left(\mathbb{K}\right)\) donnée par : \[I_n=\begin{pmatrix}
1 & 0 & \dots & 0 \\
0 & 1 & \ddots & \vdots \\
\vdots&\ddots & \ddots &0 \newline
0 & \dots & 0 & 1
\end{pmatrix} \in \mathfrak{M}_{n}(\mathbb{\mathbb{K} })\] Tous ses coefficients sont nuls sauf ceux situés sur la diagonale et qui valent \(1\).
